Hello and welcome to Harmony in the Hustle. I'm so glad you are here. And today I wanna share with you some pretty amazing information and points and advice. And I guess, you know, everything that I've experienced by doing this myself and it's all about surrounding yourself with the right people. Now we've heard it since we were kids. Have you, Angela, make sure you surround yourself.
with kids that are a good influence on you, that are going to, you know, they're going somewhere that aren't like, you know, just have no goals or no ambition. Make sure you hang around the right people that are going to help and support you in life. And it's really, really true. You know, the people that you surround yourself with that have the most influence on you have such an amazing impact in your life. They will impact all areas of your mindset, your energy, your motivation.
where what you actually turn out to be like as a kid. And it's just vital to make sure that you're hanging around and you're surrounded by the right people. So I want to talk about that today because, know, in business and in life, it is so, so vital that you are surrounded by people that will lift you up and people that are doing the things that you want to do that have gone before you that have actually succeeded in areas that you're aspiring
to succeed in as well. So when you surround yourself with people like that, they'll make you, they'll inspire you to wanna do better, to be better and to become everything that you're meant to be. And not only that, they will support you to get there as well because you're raising your standards. When you are around people, successful people, you're raising your standards. The minute that you raise your standards, Anthony Robbins talks all about this. You want success in life?
raise your standards, put yourself in a position to win, surround yourself with the right people. And you might be really nervous about putting yourself out there and surrounding yourself with these type of people, but eventually you will become that. So it's important that you are really being around, you're around the mentors coaches that are influencing you in a way where you can be better. Not only that, they will push you beyond your limits and motivate you to step into the best version of yourself.

And it's also about investing in yourself to gain the edge. I've spoken all about in my business, I help women succeed and I help them get the advantage or the edge in their life and stack the odds in their favour. So how are you able to do that? One of the biggest ways is like this surrounding yourself with the right people, investing in yourself, getting yourself a mentor or a coach or investing in yourself like you can learn something new.
So for instance, you can get yourself an online course or you can invest in, you know, I'm part of a big business group. There's a few that I'm part of, masterminds and you know, these groups, these mentoring groups and they have literally changed my life because once you're around the people like-minded like you, then that will make all the difference because you'll get the confidence to be able to move forward. And you may find that it's not your family and friends.
that are the ones that are gonna help you get ahead. You need to now put yourself in a position where it's going to be people in these masterminds and these groups that you don't know. But these are the ones that are like-minded, they're like you and you're investing in yourself. And the other thing about investing in yourself and paying for a course or being part of a group or getting the advice or the mentorship, this is what I learned a long time ago. I was told people who pay, pay attention.
So if you're investing in yourself, you're putting value on that information. You're putting value on that coaching. You're putting value on that mentorship. So when you pay, you pay attention. Don't ever feel like you don't want to invest because how can you possibly have exponential growth in your life if you're not prepared to invest in yourself? So it's vital that you are investing in yourself. And the truth is people who pay,
they do pay attention. And the fact that they are paying attention, they're going to fast track their success. So the universe loves speed. Have you ever heard that before? The universe loves speed. So when you're getting your coaching and your mentorship and you're learning from these people, you are fast tracking your success and you start operating at a higher level. And once you do that, you're stacking the odds in your favour for more success.

because once you start to implement the information that you're getting, remember the universe loves speed. More success will come to you fast. And if you take action now, see one of the things a lot of people do to hold themselves back is procrastinate. Now I can do that, trust me, I'm a liberant. So I know for me that procrastination can creep in, not so much on the big decisions, but the little decisions. Like I'll hold myself back like,
I'm not sure if it's the right sales page. Should I be saying this or not? What are we gonna do for dinner? Like these are the little things that, you know, should I not do that on the website or should I call that, like I can procrastinate on silly little things like that. And so much time will go past and I'll go for, God sakes Angela, make a decision. So do action. And whenever you catch yourself doing that and I've become better at it, and I will say like, just make a decision. Okay, I'm gonna get this sorted today and I'm gonna make a decision so I can move forward.
because the universe loves speed, be action orientated, know, be driven. These people that are successful and that you're investing in are action driven people. That's why they've had the success. The other thing you wanna make sure that you do is that you are being around people who have what you desire. And usually they've already made the mistakes, they've already learned from their failures and they're teaching you how to get there.
and fast track it without making the mistakes. Because if you don't invest in something like a coaching program or a mentorship or, and trying to fast track it for yourself, chances are you might make a big financial mistake. I have been there, my husband and I have been there in business. And we kind of think to ourselves, we would kick ourselves if we had just listened to that advice or if we had just got some more advice.
we wouldn't be in this position right now. So sometimes just being around the right people, investing in them will not only fast track you, but will help you avoid any financial issues or mistakes that you might have that could cost you dearly. And also you won't build your empire with familiarity. So being around people,

pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone, being around people that you don't know, learning to be out there and meet new people and be willing to be vulnerable and meeting people for the first time can be really daunting going into these new groups. However,
That is where you will start to build your business. This is where you will start to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. These are the things where you will find your long term partners. Because usually what I have found is like, such and such wants to do this. you know what, my friend, she does that. How about you go meet her and this person wants to do that. you know what, I've got the right person that you need to meet. And it can just be that one person that you meet because you had a conversation with this person that can change.
can change your entire life, can change your entire business when you can be able to find out what are the right people that I can be around to be able to help propel me forward. So, you know, there's most people that you're gonna succeed with, you have not even crossed paths with yet. But just remember, you won't build your empire and your business and your brand with your family and friends, okay? Our social media is not about our family and friends.
It can be, a lot of people use it as that, but if you're using it as a tool for your business, don't be worried about your family and friends watching you. I know it's hard, I've been there, I do that myself sometimes, but it's really important to understand you will not build your business with family and friends. But opening up new doors is going to be challenging. We all feel it, we all wanna be able to be in our comfort zone and do what we feel is most comfortable for us, but it's really about putting yourself out there.
And you know, it's, I've always been somebody that has wanted to surround myself with the right people. I've always wanted to fast track it. think to myself, well, why would I want to try to create the wheel when I can go to this mentor or this coach or put myself in a position to win? And it's all about how can you gain that edge? How can you gain that inch? How can you get that advantage? And being around the right people to help you do that, it can just be sometimes one.

little thing, one bit of advice that can literally implement, but you have to implement it, it can literally change your entire business. So you get the advice, you implement it, and then it can make such a massive difference in your business and in your life as well. So my advice from someone that's been in business for a long time now, and I've done so many different careers, and I have been part of so many groups, masterminds, coaches, mentors.
I understand the value of it. I understand the value of investing in it. But if you're to invest in it, make sure that whatever you learn, you implement it. And then you start to see the results. But put yourself out there. Surround yourself with the people that are going to lift you up. They're going to inspire you. You're going to make probably some of your best friends in your entire life. Like-minded people that
are in the arena, just like you, and they're getting their butt kicked. You know, there's that great quote by BrenƩ Brown, unless you're out here in the arena, getting your butt kicked, I'm not interested in your opinion or your feedback. So just remember that it's a lot of people sitting in the cheap seats, judging you, pointing at you.
telling you don't do that, come back here, come sit with us in the seats, it's comfortable. Why would you put yourself out there? And why would you put yourself out there to get criticised or, you know, judged or, you know, fall flat on your face or, you know, fail or lose? These are the ones you don't want to be listening to. The ones you want to be listening to are the ones in the arena, they're getting their butts kicked. And when you look at them, they'll say, hey, I know exactly how you're feeling. Here's a hand up. I gotcha. Let's go again.
So you bounce back faster and faster when you surround yourself with the right people. So I hope that helped today. it's just think about who in your circle can you connect with? Who can you, what type of people do you want to surround yourself with? Who are the people that are doing what you want to do? Who are the people that are achieving great things and start to put yourself in a position where you can surround yourself with these type of people.

So it will give you that edge, it'll give you that advantage, and then you start to stack the odds in your favour. And that's how you win. That's how you get ahead.
